TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) drone fuel tank is a flexible fuel storage device designed specifically for drones. It is made of high-performance TPU material and has the characteristics of lightweight, corrosion resistance, and impact resistance. It is widely used in military reconnaissance, agricultural crop protection, and long endurance industrial drones.

Thickened TPU: high tensile strength, corrosion resistance, aging resistance, light weight, hot melt welding, good sealing performance.

Customized oil port: Good firmness, good sealing, pagoda joint and oil pipe docking, no oil leakage, customizable oil port.

Wide applicability: can replace traditional fuel tanks/lighter weight, fully utilize space.

Advantages of PU material:

High elasticity and flexibilit:

TPU has good stretchability (elongation rate can reach over 500%), which can adapt to the deformation of oil bags during oil filling and discharging, reducing the risk of stress cracking.

Oil resistance and chemical stability:

It has excellent impermeability to fuels such as diesel, gasoline, and aviation kerosene, and has a low fuel loss rate (usually<0.1g/m ²day).

High mechanical strength:

Tear resistance (up to 50kN/m or more) and wear resistance, suitable for complex flight environments.

Environmental adaptability:

Wide working temperature range (-40 to+80 ), resistant to UV and ozone aging.

Composite process:

Some high-end oil bags use TPU+nylon fabric lamination technology to further enhance their compressive strength (able to withstand internal pressures above 20kPa) and puncture resistance.

Structural design:

Customized shape:

Design flat, multi chamber, or irregular structures to maximize space utilization (with volumes ranging from 1L to 50L) based on 3D modeling of the drone fuel tank compartment space.

Anti eddy current design:

Built in honeycomb partitions or flow channels ensure stable fuel delivery during changes in flight attitude, avoiding fuel supply interruptions.

Integrated interface:

Quick detachable oil injection port (with leak proof valve);

Compatible with multiple fuel pump pumping pipeline interfaces (such as AN-6 standard);

Optional fuel quantity sensor (capacitive or ultrasonic).

Security redundancy:

Some military models are equipped with self sealing coatings that can quickly close micropores (repair pore size<3mm) after puncture.
